BUFFALO — An anonymous donor going under the name of dashforstash on Twitter and Instagram is hiding money throughout Western New York.
"This is a social experiment that will continue indefinitely, and there is nothing commercial behind it. The aim is simply to spread love and generosity in a unique and exciting way," the donor said in a statement.
According to the donor, all the money given away was saved and earned over his or her lifespan and now they want to pay it forward.
The prizes range from $50 to bills tickets or air pods.
