Amherst police looking for witnesses and video after crash with serious injuries

AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Police in Amherst are looking for witnesses and video following a crash that left people with serious injuries, Monday afternoon.

Authorities say a 58-year-old Buffalo man driving a truck crashed into a 24-year-old North Tonawanda woman driving a car in the 2800-block of Niagara Falls Boulevard, around 1:30 p.m.

Police say the driver of the truck was sent to ECMC with minor injuries, while the passenger had serious head and back injuries.

Both the driver and the passenger of the car were taken to Millard Fillmore Subarban Hospital with minor injuries.
