NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — Thanksgiving is nearly here and a Niagara Falls transportation company is making sure their neighbors have a table full of food.

At Aero Transportation's third annual turkey giveaway, 500 people stopped by to pick up their Thanksgiving meal.

"It's so nice at this time of year to volunteer and come and help families receive a good meal for Thanksgiving," said Regina Austin of Niagara Falls, who stopped by to get a turkey.

This is year marks the company's 10th anniversary. Owners say they make a point to treat customers like family.

"We're trying to give back to the community that has been there for us," said Anas Mangla, co-owner of Aero.

Turkeys went fast, with all 150 tickets gone in under an hour. Niagara Falls Peacemakers, Councilman Kenny Tompkins and Mayor-Elect Rob Restaino came to hand out food along with 50 other volunteers.

"We realized that many of the people we serve in this area, that they might not have anything to eat...so we just wanted to do our part," said Mangla.
