AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) — Amherst is getting its first store that sells nothing but cannabidiol products.
It's a national chain retailer called Your CBD Store, and its opening on Transit Road near the Marshalls.
The store will sell offers several items containing cannabidiol, such as oils, lotions, vaping liquid, water-soluble oils and products for pets.
A Your CBD Store location is already open on Delaware Avenue in Kenmore.
Cannabidiol is derived from the cannabis plant without the mind-altering effects of THC. This means you can use the products without getting high.
Many tout the healing powers of CBD products, saying they can provide pain relief. But throughout medical circles, the jury is still out on whether CBD actually works that way.
