BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Canalside and Outer Harbor are rebranding.
The "Buffalo Waterfront" will be a new parent brand that will bring both destinations together.
Officials with the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation (ECHDC) tell 7 Eyewitness New that Canalside and the Outer Harbor will keep their logos and names.
The goal is to bring in more tourism and awareness to the waterfront, according to ECHDC.
ECHDC says they will release more details on their website later this week.
Starting in May, we’re bringing the Outer Harbor and Canalside together as the Buffalo Waterfront. It’s all the fun you’ve come to know and love under one roof. You’ll be able to find us on all social by searching Buffalo Waterfront. More details to come! pic.twitter.com/MBwUvOR99I
