BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Aud Block is already partially developed, with Explore and More and the ice rink, but what about the other half?
Development is imminent there and the Erie Canal Harbor Development Corporation wants to know what people think should go there. Wednesday night the ECHDC showed off renderings of what the site could look like.
The @ECHDC wants the North Aud Block to look something like this. They're looking for feedback. They're hosting a meeting tonight at 95 Perry Street, Suite 500 to hear that feedback. Presentation is at 5:45, public comment until 7. @WKBW pic.twitter.com/UuPOYS7MNQ

Any plans would include office space, apartments, shops, underground parking and public space. No buildings would be over 16 stories. The renderings shown were by no means a final design.
“We're going to go back and review all the SEQR, all the environmental analysis, update some of our project plans for Canalside and we'll bring it to the board in November for adoption,” said Steve Ranalli, the president of ECHDC.
Members of the ECHDC say they're still looking for public opinion on the project.
