BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — We're counting down the hours to Dyngus Day.

But before we get to Monday, why not check out some of these events that are happening around the area this weekend.

Easter Eggsperience at the Buffalo Zoo

Get ready for this *eggciting* event. The Buffalo Zoo will be hopping with kids and adults for their zoo-wide Easter egg hunt. The event starts bright and early at 8 a.m. Saturday. Tickets are $10 each.

Botanical Gardens Spring Exhibit

This has Easter written all over it. Check out the bunnies and other farm animals at the Botanical Gardens. Over 22,000 bulbs will be on display at this South Buffalo icon. It costs $11 for adults, $10 for seniors and $9 for students 13-years and older. Children between the ages 3 and 12 will cost $6.

Broadway Market

Hurry on down to the Broadway Market before they run out of butter lambs and pussy willows! The Buffalo staple is open both Friday and Saturday. We put together a list of 7 things you can check out at market before Dyngus Day.

Pils, Pierogi and Polka

Get your pre-Dyngus Day festivities in this Saturday at the Flying Bison Brewing Company. There'll be plenty of pierogi, polka and beer to go around for your enjoyment. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 each. You can find more information here.

Buffalo Bisons Baseball

Breathe in the spring air at Sahlen Field Friday and Saturday. Buffalo will take on Scranton Friday night at 6:05 p.m. There will be fireworks after the game. If you miss Friday night's game, you can watch double the action Saturday afternoon.

Queen City Roller Girls

Talk about hard hits! Buffalo Riverworks Saturday. And get this, you're in for a double treat as there will be more than one match on the floor. The event starts at 7 p.m. You can find tickets here.

Third Fridays at the Buffalo History Museum

You can get into the Buffalo History Museum for free Friday. And get this, there'll be an Easter egg hunt happening throughout the day. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You can see a schedule of activities planned for Friday.
