7 things to do in WNY this weekend: June 7th - June 9th

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — What better way to spend your time than being outside this weekend. I mean, have you checked the 7 First Alert forecast lately?

If not, spoiler alert! It's going to be salubrious.

Here are some events you can check out this weekend.

Allentown Art Festival

Walk Delaware Avenue and find something beautiful to hang on your wall Saturday and Sunday. Tons of vendors will be downtown this year for the Allentown Art Festival. The festival is free and takes place in the Allentown Historic Preservation District. You can find a schedule here.

Touch-A-Truck

You and your kid can learn what being a firefighter is all about at the new Explore and More Children's Museum Sunday. Kids will be able to climb in, on and around all different types of emergency vehicles. Drive downtown and say hi to 7 First Alert Meteorolgist Andy Parker along with I-Team reporter Charlie Specht and Eileen Buckley. Touch-A-Truck runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

East Aurora Music Fest

Rock out to more than 60 bands at 20 different music venues in East Aurora. This music festival costs $20. Proceeds will benefit numerous charities and organizations dedicated to helping others in the community. You can find a list of bands that will perform Saturday and venues here.

Sea Lion Rescue Run 5k

Sweat it out near one of the wonders of the world. What better day to run a 5K than Saturday in Niagara Falls. Run along the Niagara Scenic Pkwy at Whirlpool State Park for the Sea Lion Rescue Run 5k. It costs $25 to run. Everyone who runs the 5K will be able to get into the Aquarium of Niagara Falls for free. Pre-registration begins at 7:45 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m.

The BASH for Mercy Flight

The BASH is back! Dress in camo gear and get ready to dance your you know what off at Buffalo RiverWorks Friday. Proceeds from the BASH will benefit Mercy Flight. The party starts at 7 p.m. It costs $50 to get in.

Music of The Tragically Hip performed by The Strictly Hip

Sit back and enjoy classics tunes from The Tragically Hip inside at Kleinhans Music Hall. The Strictly Hip alongside the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra are teaming up to celebrate the legacy of The Tragically Hip. The concert is Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $39 to $75. Batavia Bourbon and Whiskey Fest

If you're a fan of bourbon and whiskey, you may want to check this out. Batavia Downs Gaming & Hotel will be hosting a bourbon and whiskey festival Saturday between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. It costs $25 to get in. You can find tickets the event here.
