7 things to do in Western New York this weekend: September 13 - September 15

BUFFALO, N.Y(WKBW) — Fall is just around the corner, and we have some autumn-themed events for you to check out this weekend.

If you're not a fan of fall, don't sweat it. We have some outdoor festivals that scream summer listed below.

Taste of East Aurora

The historic Main Street in East Aurora will be filled with an aroma of great tasting food and music Saturday. Over 30 restaurants will be on hand to deliver delicious goods at the Taste of East Aurora. This event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will cost between $1 and $5 for each food item.

Orchard Park Festival of the Arts

The festivities continue just down Route 20A in Orchard Park. You'll be able to find the perfect painting or craft at the Orchard Park Festival of the Arts with about 200 vendors on hand. The festival will take place at the Orchard Park Middle School and will be held on Saturday and Sunday. You can find more information about the festival here.

BubbleFEST

BubbleFEST is back at the Buffalo Museum of Science. You and the kids learn all the science there is about bubbles Saturday. It costs $15 for adults, $10 for children and $11 for military members and seniors. You can find a schedule of events here.

40th Dożynki Polish Harvest Festival

Clark Street will be hoppin' with polish music and food this weekend. Enjoy pierogi's, beer and more at the 40th Dożynki Polish Harvest Festival Friday through Sunday. The events for the Polish Harvest Festival will be held at the Corpus Christi Church. There will also be a Buffalo's Best Pierogi Contest. You can find a full list of scheduled events here.

Great Pumpkin Farm Festival

You can get a jump on fall festivities this weekend in Clarence. The Great Pumpkin Farm will officially open for the season Saturday at 10:00 a.m. If you can't catch all the rides and fun this weekend, don't sweat it. The Great Pumpkin Farmwill be open through Halloween.

Buffalo Hard Cider and Doughnut Fest

Hard cider and doughnuts-- it's a combination that can't go wrong. This festival features eight bars and restaurants with hard cider and 3,000 custom doughnut creations. It costs $25 per person. Buffalo Hard Cider and Doughnut Fest takes place Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. You can see a list of participating bars here.

Meatball Street Brawl

Twenty of the best meatball purveyors in town will battle it out on Mohawk Street. Meatball Street Brawl will be held at Osteria 166 Sunday. If you're worried about missing the Bills game, organizers will play the game on a large screen. Tickets cost $18. You can find tickets here.

3rd Annual Celebration of the Arts

Here's an event for you and the kids. Make musical instruments, design t-shirts, and eat all the ice cream you want at the 3rd Annual Celebration of the Arts in West Falls. There will be lots of musical entertainment too Saturday at the West Falls Center for the Arts. Activities begin at 2:00 p.m. Admission is $25 for adults, $10 for students between the ages of 11 and 17 and children under 10-years-old get in for $5.

2019 Buffalo Maritime Heritage Festival

The 2019 Buffalo Maritime Heritage Fetsival will take place Saturday September 14th from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday September 15th from 10 am to 4 pm in and around the Col. Ward Pumping Station at at 2 Porter Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.
