BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Can you taste it?

Summer is in full swing and that can only mean one thing: festival season.

Speaking of festivals, one of the biggest Buffalo events is about to begin.

Taste of Buffalo

An aroma of delicious cuisines and brews will waft through Delaware Avenue Saturday and Sunday at the Taste of Buffalo. You'll have the chance to sample whatever your stomach desires within a short distance. This event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Buffalo Book Fest

Are you a book worm? if you answered yes, then this festival is for you. Many artisan vendors specializing in book arts, printing, and crafts will be on hand for the Buffalo Book Fest. This free festival takes place at the WNY Book Arts Center Saturday between from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can find out more information here.

Clarence Summer Art and Plein Air Festival

Here's another festival where you can pick up some cool art. Clarence Town Park will be filled with vendors and food from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday. You can see a list of food trucks and vendors who will be on hand at the festival here here.

Canal Fest

We're on a festival roll. Here's a classic one located in the Tonawandas that will last for eight days. The banks of the Historic Erie Barge Canal will be packed with rides, entertainment and vendors for the 37th annual Canal Fest Sunday. Perry Chalk Fest

Downtown Perry will be filled with color and aspiring artists Saturday. Drawing on sidewalks isn't the only thing you will enjoy at the Perry Chalk Fest. There will be food, entertainment and craft beer. The festival takes place at the Perry Festival Plaza from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You can find a schedule here.

Pirate Festival

You may have missed out on the tall ships here in the Queen City. So don't second guess this festival happening along the shores of Lake Ontario. We're talking about Pirate Festival. Take in the sights of Olcott and enjoy rides, a classic car show as well a pirate encampment with daily demonstrations. This festival runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Southern Tier's Cooler Tournament

This one is for the adults. Southern Tier Brewing Company is about to throw the ultimate summer games bash for alcohol enthusiasts. We're talking beer pong and kan jam. The games will be held at Buffalo RiverWorks inside the rink. Every player on the team that comes in first place will win a YETI Tundra 20 cooler.
