TOWN OF CONEWANGO, N.Y. (WKBW) — New York State police say a 5-year-old child is dead following a lawn mower incident in Cattaraugus County.
According to police, the 5-year-old child was riding on a lawn mower without an adult and was thrown from the mower.
The lawn mower then drover over the child resulting in fatal injuries, police say the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say they are continuing to investigate.
