2 suspects behind bars after police discover large amount of meth

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WKBW) — Two suspects are behind bars after police say they found a large amount of crystal methamphetamine, several bags of heroin and paraphernalia at a Jamestown residence.

Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force along with the Southern Tier Task Force executed a search warrant Monday morning on Sprague Street.

Authorities gained entry into the residence using force. According to police, investigators found $1,300 in cash that were proceeds from drug sales.

Investigators charged Richard Brown with criminal possession of a controlled substance and using drug paraphernalia. Timothy Blakeslee is charged with criminal nuisance.

Both suspects are awaiting arraignment.
