NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 19-year-old Niagara Falls man is now facing assault charges after police say he shot a man.
Police say Richard Rogers and another man agreed to fight Friday night near 23rd and Tennessee Avenues. That's where detectives say Rogers got out of his car and shot the other man in the back and groin.
The victim ran to a nearby business, where they called 911. He's now recovering in stable condition at ECMC.
Rogers is set to be arraigned for assault at 9a.m. in City Court.
