19-year-old from Niagara Falls charged in connection with fatal April crash

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Niagara Falls officials say a 19-year-old has been charged in connection with a fatal crash in April.

19-year-old Hailey Jamieson-Schultz was allegedly the driver of the vehicle that crashed and killed 23-year-old Shawntee Saunders and injured another passenger.

Jamieson-Schultz faces multiple charges including:

  • Aggravated vehicular homicide.
  • Vehicular manslaughter.
  • Operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs.
  • Reckless driving.

She is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
