POMFRET, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says a 17-year-old male has been charged with DWI in the Town of Pomfret, Friday night.
Authorities say they observed a vehicle commit traffic violations and then stopped the vehicle on Route 60, just before 11 p.m.
Upon further investigation, they found that the male was driving while intoxicated.
The male has been charged with the following
- Failed to keep right
- Move from lane unsafely
- Driving while intoxicated
- Driving with .08 of 1 percent or more of alcohol
The male was released and issued an appearance ticket.
He is expected to appear in Town of Pomfret Court at a later date.
