OTTO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A 16-year-old girl has died after being injured at Zoar Valley in Cattaraugus County.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's office, the unidentified teen was fatally injured after falling from a steep ledge just before 6pm on Saturday.
Sheriff's deputies and New York State Police were the first to the scene after several 911 calls were placed, alerting them that the victim had fallen. First responders from Otto, the Gowanda Fire Department and Gowanda EMS also responded.
An investigation into the death is underway.
