BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Fire Department is investigating a Sunday morning fire.

Firefighters responded to 282 Fillmore Avenue just after 9 a.m. Sunday for a house fire.

Officials say the fire began on the first floor and spread to the second floor and the attic.

No injuries were reported, officials estimate the damage at $120,000 total.

There were five units in the residence, fire officials say 12 people are being assisted by the Red Cross.

The cause remains under investigation.
