BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The SPCA serving Erie County has announced that an anonymous source donated a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for leaving a dog abandoned in a Buffalo garbage tote.
Early last week a dog, which the SPCA named Charlie, was found abandoned in a garbage bin by two Buffalo sanitation workers. The dog's body temperature was incredibly low and he was clinging to life when he was found. The dog was found in the vicinity of the Bailey Avenue and Walden Avenue.
Anyone with information that could assist the SPCA's cruetly investigation is encourage to call SPCA Officer William Heine at (716) 875-7360, ext. 221. The SPCA responds to anonymous tips.
