In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, 7 Eyewitness News reporter Liz Lewin headed back to her alma mater, Elmwood Franklin School, to celebrate two of her favorite teachers.

Mrs. Judy Jurnack has been teaching for 38 years. She taught both "Lizzy" and her sister Eva when they were in first grade and says being a teacher has always been her "life's dream."

For Mrs. Jurnack, her own personal experience as a first grader inspired her to want to make a career out of teaching. She says, "teaching kids how to read is a passion of mine."

Liz has always had a passion for theater. Ms. Margot Vincent, her theater teacher, taught her to love the stage at a very young age and to follow her imagination as far as it would take her.

When asked today if she thought Liz would end up where she is today she said, "simply put, absolutely. She has always been a talker and a lover of people."
