Veterans with Alzheimer's and dementia gather every day at the VA Veteran Health Administration's Adult Day Health Care program to keep their minds and bodies active.
The program has trivia, physical therapy, snacks, and songs throughout the six-hour day. The day also allows the veterans' families and caregivers to have time to run errands. Veterans can go to two sessions every week.
