Buffalo Police diverted traffic off Rt. 198 Westbound at the Elmwood Avenue Northbound exit due to a light pole that was close to falling down along the highway.
The roadway was closed around 4:15 p.m. and utility crews worked to repair the light pole. The roadway was closed through most of rush hour before re-opening.
