A local cab company is helping citizens make their voices heard this election.

Liberty Cab is providing free rides to polling places to make sure citizens have the opportunity to vote.

"I think it's important that everyone gets out to vote," said Bill Yuhnke, owner of Liberty Cab. "Don't let the lack of transportation stop you."

Liberty Cab partnered with Canisius College Communication and Leadership Graduate program, which provides students with resources to help their communication and leadership skills in the workplace.

Three students from the program, Jennifer Kilo, Carrie Patterson and Valerie Petty, collaborated with Liberty Cab and Clean Air Coalition as part of a class project to help people get out and vote.

To take advantage of this service, call Liberty Cab at 877-7111 and use the code LibertyRide2Vote.

Polls will be open Tuesday, November 8th from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

To find your polling place you can call the Erie County Board of Elections at 858-8891 or visit iwillvote.com.
