A police standoff has come to a peaceful end in Lewiston.
Police say a 34 year old man barricaded himself inside a home on Plain Street early this morning.
Officers say it may have been the result of some kind of domestic dispute.
There are reports that the man is a military veteran who may have been having mental health issues.
Police say he was taken into custody without incident and will be receiving an evaluation to get him the help he needs.
