Police in the Village of LeRoy have arrested Ronald D. Stives, 34, charging him in a sexual abuse investigation.
Stives is charged with one count of felony sexual abuse and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Stives was arrested on Tuesday morning. Officers say on Monday, Stives had sexual contact with the victim, who was described by police as "incapable of consent by reason of being physically helpless." Police say that incident also led to the child endangerment charge, though police have not identified the age of the victim.
Following arraignment in LeRoy Town Court, Stives was sent to Genesee County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
