At Buffalo's Waterfront Elementary School the kindergarten students are learning the alphabet, through song.
Teachers feel that when the children use dance and parts of the American sign language to go through their ABC's they have a much better understanding of words and their sounds and signs.
All of this part of the schools phonics program, four thousand students have taken part so far.
