A lawsuit against the home real estate website Zillow claims the home value "Zestimate" tool undervalued the price of an Illinois home, making it difficult for the home owners to sell.
According to a Washington Postarticle, the home estimate tool gathers home pricing info using public records and "other" data.
The article continues by explaining in certain states including Ohio, Oklahoma, Florida, Maryland and Illinois, some home estimates are off by as much as 10-33 percent.
