Lawmakers will be holding a press conference Thursday afternoon at the Ken-Ton school district to discuss a funding plan for the Town of Tonawanda.
Assemblyman Robin Schimminger helped secure $30 million for the town in the state budget to help after perceived tax losses following the recent Huntley plant closure.
Lawmakers and community leaders will talk about how the funding will impact the community.
