At the end of September popular beachside restaurant and bar Mickey Rats will be closing its doors for good.
Customers are flocking to the business as the word spreads out its closing after 44 years in business.
Ellicott Development bought the property after it was up for sale about a year about.
Plans for the property are unclear at this time. There has been speculation about beachside condos or even a boutique hotel to replace the establishment.
Because of the holiday 7 Eyewitness News was not able to talk to anyone from Ellicott Development.
The final day for business is set for September 30th. The staff is planning a huge part for the occasion, on that day.
