A Buffalo Police spokesperson confirmed at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, a thief or thieves entered a broken side door at the Buffalo Irish Center and stole a large safe and yellow dolly.
According to police, the burglar(s) tried to open cash registers, leaving one damaged. The suspect(s) also left a boot print, after kicking in the door to the safe room. They used the yellow dolly to remove the 5-foot-tall safe from the center. Police say about $3,000 from the safe and cash register was stolen.
Police traced the dolly tracks a short distance down Robins Street, where it ended.
