A Lancaster man has been sentenced to almost 16 years in prison after he was convicted on child pornography charges.

Acting U.S. Attorney James Kennedy says Joseph Lombardo, 25, will also face a lifetime of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Lawrence Vilardo.

According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron Mango, in May 2014 a 15-year-old teenage girl reported being contacted by an unknown man on the social media site "Kik" when she was about 12 or 13 years old. The teenager said the man called himself "Chris Richardson."

According to the girl, "Chris Richardson" asked her for naked pictures. She says he told her if she refused he would post the pictures of her on the internet. This girl, Victim 1, sent "Chris Richardson" pictures and confided in another girl who also said the same man solicited pictures from her and was extorting her, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.

The other girl told Victim 1 about a man known as "Dan" who would help her, according to officials. "Dan" contacted Victim 1 who agreed to help her if she hung out with him. Officials say the two chatted on a daily basis for several weeks, then "Dan" requested naked pictures and Victim 1 agreed.

Victim 1 and "Dan" eventually met in person and had sexual contact several times over the course of several weeks, according to officials. The U.S. Attorney's Office says "Dan" asked Victim 1 if he could record them during one of their sexual encounters. He told her he would put it on the internet and make money for her, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Mango.

Victim 1 says she is unsure if she was videotaped and says she told "Dan" her real age.

Officials say on May 9, 2014, Victim 1 identified "Dan" in a police photo array. On that same day, police found several items, including a laptop, while searching Lombardo's Lancaster residence during the execution of a search warrant.

Officers say they found images of a 13-year-old girl (Victim 2) while looking through evidence on Lombardo's laptop. Officials say the pictures were sent by phone. Victim 2 told police she met Lombardo, who identified himself as "Chris Richardson" on meetme.com.

Officials also found pictures of a 16-year-old girl (Victim 3) who says she also met Lombardo on meetme.com. Victim 3 says she had sexual contact with Lombardo and also sent him 30 to 40 naked pictures.
