A Lancaster man pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges in NY State Supreme Court Wednesday after a deadly car crash.

31 year old John Zakrzewski was charged with first degree vehicular manslaughter after the car he was driving struck two other vehicles on Girdle Road in the Town of Elma last December.  Police say his vehicle was traveling at 105 miles per hour as it approached Bullis Road where the crash happened.

The Erie County District Attorney's office says Zakrzewski was drunk and had a blood alcohol level that was more than twice the legal limit.

59 year old Guy Van Iderstine of Indiana died at the scene after his car was hit and his dog was also killed in the crash.  The man driving the other vehicle involved was not injured.
