Lake snow causes huge backups in South Towns

Lake Effect snow, plus rush hour traffic, sprinkle in a half dozen stuck cars. It's a perfect recipe for a nightmare commute. 

Drivers were stuck for hours heading south on Route 5 in Lackawanna. The snow so heavy, people on Route 5 got out on the road to brush the accumulating snow of their cars.  

Some people waited in traffic for more than 5 hours.
