After an unusually warm, record setting month of December, Mother Nature ushered in the New Year in a big way.
“I’m just out here clearing some snow,” Hamburg resident Darrell Darling told 7 Eyewitness News. “I just worked on my snow blower. I did a few adjustments now she’s running pretty good.”
Our cameras were rolling as Darling revved up his blower and put it to good use for the first time this season clearing close to 10 inches of snow.
“Just the sidewalks and I did my neighbors sidewalks for them and just help out everybody else.”
Down the road in the Village of Orchard Park, 7 Eyewitness news found a driver busy plowing several snow covered lots at businesses along North Buffalo Road.
The snow made the roads rough for local drivers but good for those in the snow removal business. The driver we found was wrapping up a 16 hour day.
