The lack of snow in Western New York is hurting the pockets of some businesses.
Kissing Bridge hasn't been able to open yet because temperatures have been above average and there hasn’t been any significant snow fall.
That's kept slopes dry - and businesses around the ski resort.
"When they're skiing we get a lot of business from them,” said owner of Pizza Glen, Michael Rowan.
He said his business is normally packed and people are standing in line to get in. Since the ski club is closed, not many customers are coming in for pizza, wings and subs.
7 Eyewitness News reached out to Kissing Bridge to see what they are doing about the lack of snow. We are still waiting on a response from their spokesperson.
Holiday Valley Ski Resort in Ellicottville is hoping to open next week sometime. That’s only if it’s cold enough to make snow.
But this week Western New York could set records for the longest period without a traceable amount of snow.
