Labatt Blue is celebrating a decade of Pond Hockey in Buffalo, drawing tens of thousands of people over the years.
The three-day tournament kicks off Friday and will bring more than 1,000 hockey players from eight different states. 144 teams will face off for the title at Riverworks.
In addition to tournament games, there will also be family friendly activities. Games like cornhole and giant jenga will be available, as well as live music and photo booths.
Pond hockey differs from traditional hockey in that the ice space is smaller, teams are smaller, there are no goalies and the goals themselves are smaller.
