Local brewing companies are voicing their support for ridesharing to make its way to upstate New York.
Labatt USA and members of the local brewing industry are pushing to bring companies like Uber to the area to help make the waterfront, major sports events, festivals, cultural institutions, new restaurants and bars, and the thriving beer industry more accessible to Western New Yorkers.
Other companies in favor of this launch include Big Ditch Brewing Company, Flying Bison Brewing Company, Resurgence Brewing Company, Thin Man Brewery and Try-It Distributing Company.
According to an independent study earlier this year, more than 70% of New Yorkers said they wanted ridesharing services to come to the area.
