Cute kids at the Stanley Makowski Early Childhood Center made cards to show support for the Buffalo Police Department and the Lehner family.
School officials said the children were aware of the loss and "expressed a heartfelt desire to reach out in unity, support, and care."
The students also created a special basket.
Buffalo Police officers visited the school this morning to collect the children's cards and show appreciation.
