Assemblyman Mickey Kearns wants an investigation into the potential acquisition of First Niagara by Key Bank.
Kearns has sent a letter to Governor Andrew Cuomo requesting a blue ribbon panel of local banking experts to be formed to investigate the deal.
In the letter, the lawmaker explains how this deal will have a significant impact on Western New York's economy.
