Caesar, Hydro and Paris are the newest recruits assigned to patrol the streets of Western New York.
Paris is a bloodhound dog that has joined New York State Police. She got out of the academy last week, and Thursday was her first day of work. She's been trained to be lifted into remote locations by helicopter.
Paris will be assigned to Trooper Frank Valletta, a twelve year veteran of the force.
K9 Caesar and K9 Hydro have joined the Buffalo Police Department. They will begin their training in Canada next week. Hydro is a gift from the Hyde Foundation.
