A K9 team discovered a synthetic drug on a visitor at the Erie County Correctional Facility on Friday.
According to the Erie Count Sheriff's Office, Canine Lord and his handler, Corrections Officer Addesa, were conducting visitor searches when Lord indicated the presence of a drug on 24-year-old Dalisha Mills.
Officials say a package of K2, also known as a form of synthetic marijuana called Spice, was discovered in an undergarment.
Mills was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of introducing contraband to a prison, according to deputies.
Mills was released on an appearance ticket for Alden Town Court.
