A wanted felon in Jamestown is now in jail thanks to the help of a K-9 officer.
Jamestown Police say 33-year-old Devon Cottom ran from them at a home on Barrows Street.
Police say Cottom was told to stop but continued to run. K-9 officer Mitchell was released and eventually caught the suspect.
Cottom is in City of Jamestown jail awaiting arraignment.
In November, K-9 officer Mitchell was stabbed when he was sent into a house while police searched for murder suspect Keith Robbins.
