There are new developments in the case of suspended Buffalo Police Officer Corey Krug.
7 Eyewitness News has learned a federal judge has denied Krug's request to drop charges against him.
Krug's Attorney, Terry Connors, had argued to have the charges of deprivation of rights and excessive force dismissed, back in January.
Krug was charged in the months after we showed you this exclusive 7 Eyewitness News video from Thanksgiving 2014. In it, Krug is seen hitting a man on the ground with his baton on Chippewa Street.
Krug can now appeal the judge's decision. It's unclear when he'll be back in court.
