Jim Kelly is back in New York City for surgery as he continues his battle with oral cancer. Kelly's wife Jill posted on Instagram Thursday morning that Kelly would be undergoing additional procedures, and that if everything went well he would be home by the weekend.
In March Kelly announced that his oral cancer returned. He later had surgery on his neck and mouth. Kelly previously had surgery on his jaw and sinuses.
In the Instagran post Jill Kelly praised her husband's strength saying, " Other than God's Grace and a whole lot of praying...I don't know how he does it."
She went on to say the family has much to look forward to, and to thank everyone for praying, saying she wished she could hug everyone in person.
