JCPenny announces holiday hiring spree

Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) - 12 weeks and counting ... until Christmas that is, and local retailers are looking to boost employee numbers to deal with the holiday rush.
On Wednesday, JCPenney announced it will be hiring 450 seasonal associates throughout the Buffalo area, positions include customer service and support.
Hiring begins in early October and will continue throughout the holiday season. Seasonal associates are promised a discount up to 25% and flexible holiday scheduling.
