Java man arrested for fourth time in past week

21-year-old Jared Price is no stranger to Wyoming County police. 

On Friday, Wyoming County Sheriff's deputies responded to Welch Road in the Town of Java about a domestic incident. 

The incident led to charges of burglary in the second degree, criminal contempt in the seconde degree and attempted petit larceny.

Price violated an order of protection by being at the residence of the protected party. Price left the residence before officers arrived but was found by a state trooper a short distance away several minutes later. 

The Java native was not cooperative during the arrest and was additionally charged with: resisting arrest, criminal .mischief, and attempted escape. 

Officials say Price kicked out the rear door window of a deputy's patrol car in an attempt to flee.

Price was arraigned in the Town of Warsaw Court.

He is in the custody of the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail that has not been posted yet.

His previous charges in the last couple of week include:

  1. July 24 - drugs and related vehicle and traffic charges (bailed).
  2. July 20 - unlawfully growing cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana.
  3. July 18 - criminal contempt in the second degree for violating an order of protection (bailed).
