A Buffalo man is heading to prison after trying to set his own wife on fire.
It was back on January 26th, when 58-year-old Leslie May hit his wife in the head, then doused her in gasoline. Prosecutors say he intended to set her on fire.
An upstairs neighbor helped break up the potentially deadly scene upon hearing the commotion and smelling gas. When the neighbor knocked on the door, May took off.
May was eventually arrested in February.
