With St. Patrick's Day quickly approaching, the Irish dancers at Clann Na Cara have their busiest days ahead of them.

The Kenmore dance studio works to preserve and showcase Irish heritage through dance. Dancers of all ages have more than 65 appearances scheduled through the month, from St. Patrick's Day to nursing homes and world competition in Glasgow, Scotland.

Three of Clann Na Cara'a dancers are headed to the world Irish dancing competition on St. Patrick's Day. One of the dancers, 23 year old Sarah Spitznogle, has been competing for seven years at the world championship and two 12 year-old dancers, Emerie Ficorili and Iyla Dickerson, are competing for the first time.

Clann Na Cara offers a mini four-week session for families that aren't sure if they want to commit to the sport. You can learn more on their website and check for their appearances here.
