If you or your teenagers use Instagram, researchers have a new warning. They say it's been rated the worst social media site for young people's mental health.
Sky News reports that the Royal Society for Public Health surveyed about 1,500 people in the UK between the ages of 14-24. Those participants rated Instagram the most negatively when it came to feelings relating to loneliness, depression, body image, bullying and its impact on sleep.
After Instagram, the young people said Snapchat, Facebook then Twitter most negativey impacted them.
Experts suggest parents teach their kids how to cope with all aspects of social media, and talk about how it impacts them. More than 600 million people reported using Instagram each month.
