Ingram Micro has entered into a $6.0 billion merger with Chinese firm Tianjin Tianhai but the move is not expected to have much of an impact on workers in Western New York.
Ingram Micro CEO Alain Monie released this statement on Thursday. "We do not expect any positions to be lost in Buffalo as a result of this merger, it is business as usual at Ingram Micro and very little, if anything, is expected to change. Our brand, strategy, purpose and values remain unchanged."
Ingram Micro is headquartered in Irvine, California and also has an office in Williamsville.
