Ingram Micro is giving back to Buffalo. The company is using it's U.S. Sales Kickoff event being held locally as an opportunity to raise money for people in Western New York with developmental disabilities.
Ingram Micro presented Heritage Christian Services with a check for $15,000 on Tuesday. The money was raised during the 2nd annual Queen City Classic Hockey Tournament at the Riverworks Complex. The event was a competition between two teams of Ingram Micro associates.
Heritage Christian Services serves thousands of people in Buffalo and Rochester. The organization focuses on making sure everyone dealing with a developmental disability feels valued and respected.
Executives from the Ingram Micro also visited Roswell Park Cancer Institute to present a check to Mikey's Way for $10,000.
